Samantha Halloran Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Education
Ms. Halloran tutors twice a week at a local elementary school
LINCOLN PARK, NJ, January 11, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Samantha Halloran, a student at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
With the desire to one day become an educator, Ms. Halloran is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, with a concentration in language arts, at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. In addition to attending her teaching classes, she tutors twice a week at a local elementary school. She is constantly pushing herself to do better, an attribute to which she credits her success.
During her time in school, Ms. Halloran studied abroad in Africa, where she taught in some of their schools. It was an eye-opening and life changing experience for her and only made her want to become a teacher even more. A member of PSEA and ASCD, she was listed on the Dean's List. Looking ahead, Ms. Halloran intends to finish her bachelor's degree and find a job close to her home.
