Ms. Kneller-Gold developed an interest in clinical work many years ago after working with children and as a hospital social worker. Ms. Kneller-Gold specializes in individual, couple and family therapy, trauma, anxiety, employee assistance programs, grief work and women's issues. She attributes her success to her prior work experience in many areas, which she has built upon.

As a Certified Professional Social Worker, Ms. Kneller-Gold holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Concordia University. She is one of ten women who opened the first Jewish shelters for battered women and their children in Montreal more than 20 years ago.
