SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA, October 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shanta Rao, Leadership Executive and Motivational Coach for Soft Skill Solutions, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in communications.

Passionate about celebrating others' successes, and seeing people blossom to their fullest potential, Ms. Rao formed Soft Skill Solutions. A former adoption social worker and a supervisor with the San Luis Obispo Department of Social Services for 13 years, she coached, mentored, and trained social workers in multiple child welfare programs. This experience prepared her for the trials and victories that come along with owning a company dedicated to motivating others to reach high and dream big. With a background in effective communication, interpersonal relationships, international business mediation and negotiation, and multicultural leadership, she is also the co-founder of Canvas Creations, a company that produces documentary films promoting socially conscious awareness and women's empowerment issues in Bangalore, India.

Ms. Rao credits her success to her extensive experience in multicultural perspective of the east and the west, along with her personal and professional networking ability here in the US and in India. Ms. Rao is engaged at Soft Skill Solutions in building her portfolio as an individual coach/consultant, recruiting clients, and partaking in international business mediation and negotiations.
Ms. Rao is actively seeking engagements in India and the United States with a future intention to expand services in the other parts of the world.

She believes in positive thinking, and in "living by choice and not by chance and to make changes and not excuses." Ms. Rao has the courage and the confidence to travel the less traveled road. She believes in listening to her inner voice over irrelevant random opinion of others. She took a personal initiative to train in leadership through the National Management Association.

In 1994, Ms. Rao earned a bachelor's degree in human development, followed two short years later with a master's degree in education and counseling, both from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a member of the Cal Poly Alumni Association, the Friends of Executive Coaching Alliance. and National Association of Professional Women. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue to do what makes her happy and become a successful international motivational consultant and an entrepreneur. Her passion is in eradicating abuse of bureaucratic power and political manipulations, empowerment of women and children, and creating a world of mutual acceptance, respect and harmony. Ms. Rao is diligent and dedicated to promoting global citizenship.
