With 31 years of field experience, Dr. Kaufman is a physician in private practice. His responsibilities as a pediatric neurologist include meeting with patients and performing administrative duties. Additionally, he works as a medical director for YAI Network, where he oversees five medical practices.

Dr. Kaufman completed a fellowship and residency in pediatric neurology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He also completed a residency in pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College and holds an MD from Boston University in 1975. He is a member of the New York Pediatric Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, and American Academy of Neurology. His outstanding work in his field has led him to be listed twice as a top doctor by New York Magazine; he has also been recognized as a top doctor by Castle Connolly.
