Dr. Doris Roettger serves as a director and teacher at Your Reading Connection

WEST DES MOINES, IA, September 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Doris Roettger, Director and Teacher at Your Reading Connection, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

The director and teacher of Your Reading Connection, Dr. Roettger attributes her success to the support and motivation that she received from her father and her husband. His day-to-day responsibilities include instructing students in grades one through 12 on writing and reading silently and outloud, working with students on an individual basis, assessing students' progress, and meeting with students' parents.

Dr. Roettger is the former president of the Iowa Reading Association and the International Reading Association. In 1972, she earned a Ph.D. in education, with a concentration in educational psychology, at The University of Iowa.
