David W. Echols, Attorney, Receives Professional Networking Community's Highest Honor
David W. Echols Named Law Professional of the Year

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, September 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David W. Echols, Senior Attorney at Echols & Associates, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Law. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.

With 32 years of experience in the legal profession, David W. Echols is a respected authority on family law. He has devoted all but one year of his career to Echols & Associates, the thriving practice that he runs alongside his wife, law Judge M. Eileen Echols who is also a senior attorney at the firm. Echols and Associates has been involved in high profile family law litigation, including those involving professional athletes and high asset divorce cases. Drawing upon an enviable background in numerous family law matters, Mr. Echols' firm is known for handling complex and contested matrimonial law and divorce cases. He takes pride in helming a law firm that is known to employ a team approach in representing its clients.

Esteemed by his peers, Mr. Echols has published numerous articles on his area of expertise. He also shares his knowledge with law students as an adjunct professor at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he has been teaching family law and public policy since 2002. Honored as a fellow by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, he attributes his success to his diligence, dedication to his clients, and passion for family law.

Mr. Echols received his JD in 1978 from Oklahoma City University and his bachelor of arts in sociology in 1972 from The University of Oklahoma. His professional affiliations include the Cleveland County Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and Phi Beta Kappa. He previously served as president of the Family Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
