Teresa K. McComber Honored for Excellence in Mathematics Instruction
Teresa K. McComber teaches mathematics at North Mason High School in Washington State
ALLYN, WA, August 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Teresa K. McComber, Mathematics Teacher at North Mason High School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in mathematics instruction.
A celebrated educator, Teresa K. McComber has dedicated over two decades of her professional career to academics. For the past nine years, she has been a member of the faculty at North Mason High School, where she serves as a mathematics teacher. Ms. McComber notes that she is continually inspired to make a positive difference in the lives of her students. She enjoys fortifying young minds and is motivated by her genuine love for education. On November 20, 2009, Ms. McComber earned the status of National Board Certified Teacher in Mathematics for Adolescence and Young Adulthood.
In 2000, Ms. McComber was honored with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Secondary Mathematics Teaching by the state of South Dakota. She holds a Master of Science in Teaching from the University of Wyoming, earned in 1997, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University, earned in 1988. She is professionally affiliated with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Council of Presidential Awardees in Mathematics, Student Attributes for Mathematics Success, the Olympic Peninsula Transition Math Project and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
