With 10 years of professional experience, Mr. Cowles is skilled in student leadership organization. At the Ohio Department of Education, he consults on curriculum development in the areas of transportation and construction. Formerly, Mr. Cowles worked as a vocational school administrator and teacher. He attributes his success to his passion for working with children.

In 1992, Mr. Cowles earned a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Dayton. He is also the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Malone University. A member of the Association for Career and Technical Education, Mr. Cowles serves as the director of SkillsUSA. In the future, he hopes to continue working as a curriculum consultant.
