Industry Leader Leigh Ann Tutt Added to the Cambridge Who's Who Network
Leigh Ann Tutt feels educators can change the future by creating an impact on the future generation

SULPHUR, LA, August 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leigh Ann Tutt, Literacy Coach at Calcasieu Parish Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

With 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Tutt attributes her success to the support she receives from her peers and school administrators. As a literacy coach, she is responsible for assessing students, managing the literacy team, and monitoring the school reading program. She also conducts professional development programs for teachers, coordinates the Response to Intervention program, collaborates with interventionists, and interacts with the administration on improving student literacy.

Ms. Tutt is a member of the Calcasieu Federation of Teachers and School Employees, the Louisiana Federation of Teachers, the American Federation of Teachers, and Who's Who Among American Teachers. In 1983, she earned her Master's Degree from McNeese State University. She received the Teacher of the Year Award from Maplewood Middle School.
