Rosita Costas Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Rosita Costas, a leading professional in education, celebrates 30 years in the industry
BRONX, NY, July 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rosita Costas, Educational Administrator for The New York City Department of Education, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
Ms. Costas has 30 years of overall professional experience, and has been with The New York City Department of Education for 10 years. As an educational administrator, she is responsible for training English as a second language teachers in conducting a program for students learning Spanish. She is also in charge of budget planning, and assisting in compliance issues. Additionally, she teaches religious classes and is a guest speaker at educational conferences.
In 2005, Ms. Costas received her Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Fordham University. She received her Master's Degree in Bilingual Education in 1982 from Hunter College, and is a member of the Central Student Association and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
