MANHASSET, NY, June 03, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patricia Lloyd-Carr, Mentor for The New York City Department of Education, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education and business.
With 18 years of field experience, Ms. Lloyd-Carr has been employed by The New York City Department of Education for the past year. Specializing in education management, she is responsible for offering assistance to educators. Prior to her current position, Ms. Lloyd-Carr worked for a nonprofit organization in Switzerland. She attributes her success to her love of learning and the support she received from her parents.
In 1989, Ms. Lloyd-Carr earned an MBA from Adelphi University. She is also the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in French and English from St. John's University. Certified in English as a second language, French, business and Spanish, she is a member of the International Education Honor Society. Ms. Lloyd-Carr served as an officer of the board of trustees for The China Medical Board. In the future, she hopes to become a consultant.
