Patricia Barron Hargress Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Patricia Hargress is a member of the Court Appointed Special Advocates
ASHBURN, GA, June 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patricia Hargress, Principal of Turner County Special Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education administration.
As the principal of Turner County Schools, Ms. Hargress greets staff, monitors students and teachers, maintains discipline among students, tutors alternative students and directs the pre-kindergarten program. She became involved in her profession through her educational background and experience as a second-grade teacher. She attributes her success to her consistency, never-give-up attitude and her faith.
Ms. Hargress completed coursework in Educational Leadership at Nova university in 2007, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 1991 and received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Albany State University in GA in 2001. She serves on the Parent Involvement Council, the Child Abuse Council, the American Association of Retired Persons, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the Court Appointed Special Advocates. In the future, she intends to develop the school.
