Judith L. Kennedy to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Judith L. Kennedy was honored with the Special Achievement award through Life Steps Foundation, Inc.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA, June 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judith L. Kennedy, RAS, House and Case Management Supervisor (Retired) of Life Steps Foundation Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in human services.

After a lifetime surrounded by addiction and domestic violence, and witnessing her own family deterioration, Ms. Kennedy became interested in recovery. As a single mother at the age of 36, she attended Cuesta College, where she obtained her Associate of Arts in Family Studies and Human Services. She also completed coursework in Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Child and Substance Abuse Counseling. At this time, she became an addiction specialist, in order to help other women and children become whole again and evade their downward spiral.

With 24 years of professional experience, Ms. Kennedy specializes in case management. Currently retired, she served as the house and case management supervisor for several years. In this position, she reported to state and county government officials, hired therapists and personnel, and taught parental and basic life skills, cooking, personal hygiene and finance, as well as classes to be self-reliant. In her spare time, she volunteered for the local child probation department through county organizations. She thoroughly understands her clients and hopes to continue her career by providing support for women and children entangled in substance abuse and domestic violence.
