Betty A. Baker Honored for Accomplishments in Education
Betty A. Baker serves as a union representative for the Fort Wayne Education Association

FORT WAYNE, IN, June 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Betty A. Baker, Instructor at Fort Wayne Community Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

At Fort Wayne Community Schools, Ms. Baker teaches English and computer education classes; she prepares students for pre-general educational development tests. Formerly, Ms. Baker worked as an instructor for the Charter Beacon Hospital. She was also a nursery school director and high school teacher. With 33 years of professional experience, she attributes her success to her passion for her profession.

The recipient of a teaching certification, Ms. Baker earned a Master's Degree from Indiana University. She serves as a union representative for the Fort Wayne Education Association and belongs to the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. In the future, Ms. Baker hopes to retire, travel, and become involved with homebound teaching.
