Nadya Petkova celebrates four years as a child and family therapist

SEATTLE, WA, April 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nadya Petkova, Child and Family Therapist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in family systems therapy.

With four years of experience as a child and family therapist, Nadya Petkova is responsible for performing therapy for children, adolescents and adults, treating issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders and substance abuse, conducting reflective parenting programs, counseling on parent-child relationship problems, stress, adult trauma, grief and loss, and work and career issues. She became involved in her profession because of her interest in mental health and family therapy, and she attributes her success to her dedication and passion for her profession.

Ms. Petkova received her Master's Degree in Child and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle in 2005, her Master's Degree in Child Psychology from the New Bulgarian University, her Master of Social Work from the University of Paris, and her Bachelor of International Relations from the New Bulgarian University. In addition to her formal education, she is a licensed mental health counselor and a member of the American Psychological Association.
