Mary Miriam Grunfeld Recognized for Excellence in Occupational Therapy
Mary Miriam Grunfeld is the recipient of a master of education

WARE, MA, April 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary Miriam Grunfeld, Pediatric Occupational Therapist for the Speech and Language Development Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in occupational therapy.

With 17 years of professional experience, Ms. Grunfeld's expertise is in the treatment of sensory processing dysfunctions. At the Speech and Language Development Center, she performs patient evaluations, treatment and participates in clinical and classroom observations. Ms. Grunfeld also mentors occupational therapy students pursuing their fieldwork requirements. She attributes her success to her dedication and desire to help children lead an accomplished life.

In 2004, Ms. Grunfeld earned a Master of Education in Occupational Therapy from Springfield College. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Association. A former secretary for the Massachusetts Association for Occupational Therapy, Ms. Grunfeld is the recipient of an Outstanding Employee of the Month Award from Providence Behavioral Health. She obtained a certification in sensory integration, and in the future she hopes to obtain a certification and become a lecturer.
