Linda J. Gray Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who
Linda J. Gray is the recipient of a master's degree in counseling and psychology
NEWPORT, OR, March 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda J. Gray, Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor for Lincoln County Health and Human Services, Mental Health in Newport, Oregon, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in counseling and child advocacy.
With 20 years of field experience, Ms. Gray specializes in child and family counseling, dialectical behavior therapy and child abuse treatment. In her current position as Program Manager, she oversees two Oregon clinics, located in Lincoln City and Newport; she manages four programs and monitors 9 clinicians. She attributes her success to her motivation and passion for her profession.
In 1991, Ms. Gray graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR with a Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology. A member of Phi Kappa Phi; she is also on the board of directors for the Oregon Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage & Family Therapists. Ms. Gray helped co-author a distance counseling law, concerning technological distance counseling. Ms. Gray was also instrumental in helping develop and implement new State mandated programs for the Child & Family Treatment Clinic in Newport, OR. These mandates included Intensive Services Array with wraparound initiatives, Collaborative Problem Solving and focused family therapy treatment. In the future, Ms. Gray would like to publish and continue to be influential in the improvement of State programs.
