Deborah M. Yoshizumi Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Deborah M. Yoshizumi has selflessly devoted the last 10 years to the field of social work
HONOLULU, HI, March 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Deborah M. Yoshizumi, Case Manager for the Child Welfare Services Division of the Hawaii Department of Human Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in social work.
For 10 years, Deborah M. Yoshizumi has selflessly devoted herself to the field of social work, serving as a Case Manager for the Hawaii Department of Human Services. Responsible for a large case load, she works with both biological and foster parents, service providers and children to coordinate the reunion of children with their parents. With previous experience in adoption and on the governor's panel for developmental disabilities, Ms. Yoshizumi considers obtaining her current position to be the highlight of her career to date. In an exclusive interview with Cambridge Publishing, she noted that hard work and her tendency to be a "maverick" has led her to success within the department. As she moves forward, she will seek to continue working for the state.
Ms. Yoshizumi holds a bachelor's degree in business and communication from Hawaii Loa College (now Hawaii Pacific University). Extensively knowledgeable about her department, she believes that the biggest challenges facing her profession today are drug and the economy related.
