Linda Sukup lauded for professional expertise in elementary education
MILWAUKEE, WI, December 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Sukup, Teacher at Sixty-Fifth Street Elementary School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
Linda Sukup has 34 years of experience, the last ten of which she has dedicated as a Teacher at Sixty-Fifth Street Elementary School. There, she is lauded for her expertise in instruction of all subjects, which she utilizes to teach a class of first-grade students. Ms. Sukup earned a bachelor of arts in education from Alverno College and later attended Cardinal Stritch University, where she earned both a master of science in educational leadership and a master of arts in reading language arts. She is a certified teacher in grades 1-8, has a principal license, is a certified kindergarten through 12th-grade teacher in reading, a certified director of curriculum and instruction and holds 316 and 317 reading specialist certifications.
In an exclusive interview with Cambridge Publishing, Ms. Sukup noted that her career is driven by persistence, tenacity and a passion for learning. As she moves forward, she continued, she will seek to continue to experience professional growth. Ms. Sukup is a member of Trainfest and the Milwaukee Road Historical Association. She also contributes to the Milwaukee Public Library and the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.
