Jessica A. Henderson specializes in child therapy

MURRIETA, CA, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jessica A. Henderson, Therapist at Center for Autism and Related Disorders, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in counseling.

A therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Ms. Henderson attributes her success to her own experience with disabilities and overcoming the challenges set forth by them. Her day-to-day responsibilities include seeing three to five children per week, observing and setting goals for them, and teaching lessons in how to speak and interact with people with the primary goal of assisting in recovery. She also works with parents, siblings and teachers on how to relate to the children.

Ms. Henderson is pursuing a master's degree in criminal justice at Boston University. In 2010, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, summa cum laude, from Daniel Webster College. She is a member of Alpha Psi Chi. She is a recipient of the Charles M. Filides Citizenship Scholarship and Presidential Scholarship, as well as the Excellence in Psychology Award, from Daniel Webster College.
