Gloria M. Bailey celebrates 16 years with the New York City Department of Education
Bellerose, NY, November 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gloria M. Bailey, Teacher for the New York City Department of Education, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of special education.
Gloria M. Bailey is confident that one day, she will be the founder of a school for underprivileged children. It is with this drive and fortitude that she thrives in her position in the education field.
Prior to embarking on her career, Ms. Bailey obtained a bachelor of arts in psychology and elementary education from York College, earned in 1998. She went on to acquire a master of arts in secondary education at Mercy College, which she completed in 2000. She is also certified in CPR and autism through completing courses on the Internet.
Currently, Ms. Bailey serves as a teacher for the New York City Department of Education. At her post, she teaches language arts, writing, mathematics, social studies, science and basic Spanish to third- and fourth-grade students with special needs. She enjoys going to work each day, where she is afforded the opportunity to give back to her community and make a difference in the lives of children.
