Amy Dapsauski Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Childcare Credentialing Services
Maryland State Credentialing Specialist with the Family Child Care Association
FREDERICK, MD, November 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amy Dapsauski, Director of the Maryland State Family Child Care Association's Department of Training and Technical Assistance, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of childcare credentialing services.
Ms. Dapsauski has extensive professional experience collaborating with early childhood agencies and offering technical assistance for programs seeking accreditation from the Maryland childcare credential program. Over the course of her career with the Maryland State Family Child Care Association, she attended courses to train her to prepare observers with the National Association for Family Child Care and support family childcare providers through the National Association for Family Child Care accreditation process. Additionally, she participated in the Maryland Child Care Credential program and earned a level 6 credential. She proudly received the Maryland Child Care Credential, along with funds, from the Judith P. Hoyer grants for accreditation support.
Her experience as a teacher and her love for working with children prompted Ms. Dapsauski to become involved in her profession. She was honored with the NAFCC Ambassador Award as well as the Leadership Award, on two occasions, by the National Association for Family Child Care. A graduate of Hood College, she received her Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, with a concentration in early childhood education, in 2007 and her Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from Frederick Community College in 2004. Ms. Dapsauski is a supporter of the Maryland Committee for Children and was an accreditation observer for the National Association for Family Child Care since 2003.
