Odalis Gonzalez attributes her success to her determination
/Childrens Issues News Articles/ -- BRONX, NY, January 12, 2010, Odalis Gonzalez, Supervising Social Worker for Safe Horizon, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in social services.
With 15 years of professional experience, Ms. Gonzalez is responsible for auditing internal files, supervising two case managers and two child care workers, and managing the domestic violence support group. Safe Horizon is the largest provider of domestic violence services in the country, and it offers innovative programs that provide women with support throughout the complex process of leaving violent relationships and building safe futures for survivors of domestic violence, stalking, rape and sexual assault. The organization offers services that help the victims and their children move toward safe and independent violence-free lives.
Ms. Gonzalez has experience working in hospitals, managed care companies, vocational programs, and as a recruiter in a college setting.
Ms. Gonzalez is currently completing a six week online course in web design. She received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University in 2001 and is a member of the National Society for Hispanic Professionals. She attributes her success to her determination. In the future, she intends to obtain her doctorate degree and advance to a management position.
Ms. Gonzalez is currently completing a six-week online course and will continue to take additional software development courses. In the future, she intends to obtain her doctorate degree in Business and Computer Information Systems to assist with advancing to higher management positions.
