Bruegger's to Open in Renowned Facility for Children with Special Needs
Fast casual bakery cafe set to open at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

DALLAS, TX, June 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bruegger's Enterprises, Inc. today announced a partnership with Kennedy Krieger Institute, an organization internationally known for its work with children and adolescents with brain, spinal cord and musculoskeletal disorders. The fast casual chain, with 297 locations, will be the only on-site food provider for patients, families and staff of the Institute's inpatient and outpatient hospitals in East Baltimore.

The bakery, set to open in mid-summer, will be located at Kennedy Krieger's new state-of-the-art Outpatient Center in a second floor location overlooking an outdoor therapeutic garden.

Bruegger's has long supported organizations that benefit children. In late April, the chain launched a week-long donation campaign to benefit children's hospitals in conjunction with the opening of its next generation bakery prototype. It has also supported Toys for Tots, Feed the Children, Share our Strength and other causes.

The Kennedy Krieger bakery will offer visitors and staff the same wide range of breakfast and lunch offerings offered at Bruegger's locations throughout the U.S. and Canada; including their authentic, kettle-boiled bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches served on fresh-baked bagels and breads, soups, salads, Green Mountain Coffee , pastries and desserts. The chain's non-traditional locations have been rated best in class by such publications as Airport Revenue News.
