Mariellen J. MacKay Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Mariellen J. MacKay is proud of the difference she is making by helping people

NASHUA, NH, November 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mariellen J. MacKay, CDS Account Manager for Gateways Community Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in management.

Ms. MacKay has 17 years of professional experience. At her current post, she is in charge of working for families with developmentally disabled children. She is the chair of the New Hampshire Council on Developmental Disabilities, and Phi Theta Kappa. In 2006, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the New York Institute of Technology. Ms. MacKay is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Human Services. She is a member of a Golden Key International Honor Society.

Ms. MacKay is currently the 3rd vice chair positon of the New Hampshire State Rehabilitation Council. She holds the title of Master Educational Surrogate contracting through the Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education. She has also served her state as an official New Hampshire trained mediators and is also a former president of the New Hampshire Foster & Adoptive Parent Association.

Ms. MacKay has been recognized and awarded for her commitment to her field. She was presented with the state of New Hampsire's Citation Award in the Health Care Planning District Council by Governer Shaheen, Department of Health and Human Services Commissioner Terry Morton and Executive Councilor Bernard Streeter. She has also been appointed by Governor Lynch's citation to the Speech Language Pathology Governing Board. In addition The Nashua District Office of the New Hampshire Division for Children, Youth and Families has awarded her for Outstanding Support and Services to all of New Hampshire's foster parents.
