Suzanne Marie Kidney Honored for Excellence in Educational Audiology
CASS CITY, MI, June 6, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Suzanne Marie Kidney, Hearing Technician for Tuscola Intermediate School District, has been recognized as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of educational audiology.
Suzanne Marie Kidney has 33 years of professional experience and excels in the provision of audiological assistance. At her current post, she is responsible for calibrating hearing aids and troubleshooting wireless FM, personal frequency modulators and room sound field systems. Additionally, she consults with vendors, teachers, parents, and audiologists, conducts hearing screenings in public schools, updates student reports, and maintains and repairs equipment.
Hard work and determination are the undisputed keys to Ms. Kidney's success. She is passionate and dedicated to helping the children of Tuscola Intermediate School District overcome their disabilities. In acknowledgement of her accomplishments, she was honored with the Recognition Award for 33 Years of Service in Special Education and the Civitan Award for Coaching. She was also presented with an award by Special Olympics Michigan in 1982. Her educational background consists of an Associate Degree in Business Studies, with a concentration in Micro Computers, earned at Baker College. She received certification from the Michigan Department of Community Health, and is a member of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and the Educational Audiology Association. In five years, Ms. Kidney aspires to establish a private consulting firm.
