Rosanna L. Michela demonstrates 31 years of dedication to protecting children
ALBANY, NY, June 9, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rosanna L. Michela, Child Protective Case Worker for the Long-Term Care Division of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth & Families, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of social work.
With 31 years of experience in her field, Ms. Michela specializes in long-term family care. As a Child Protective Case Worker for the Long-Term Care Division of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth & Families, she is responsible for conducting home visits to ensure the health and safety of children, working with the family court, working with families to reunite them and coordinating with other agencies on behalf of children and their families. She originally wanted to become a schoolteacher but later decided that she wanted to help families and became a social worker. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her friends and co-workers.
Ms. Michela received her Associate of Applied Science in Social Work from Hudson Valley Community College in 1977. She is a two-time recipient of the Employee of the Month Award.
