Lorraine Sandone Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Lorraine Sandone noted for 30 years of dedication to the field of social work

FRESNO, CA, June 4, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lorraine Sandone aka Laurel-Rain Snow, Writer and Social Work Practitioner (Retired) for the Human Services Department in the County of Fresno, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of social work.

Throughout her 30-year career as a social worker, Ms. Sandone was responsible for overseeing child welfare services, working with families in crisis, child abuse victims, foster children, their families and parents, rehabilitation, and behavior modification for foster children and parents. She also worked for a private company placing foster children in specialized homes. Currently, she is a published writer of literary fiction with five novels dealing with child abuse issues, foster care and their families and dysfunction. She has published five novels under the pen name "Laurel-Rain Snow" and is currently selling her books on Amazon.com. She attributes her success to her persistence.

Ms. Sandone received her Master's Degree in Counseling from California State University, Fresno in 1979 and is a member of the American Association of University Women. In 2000, she was honored with the Social Worker of the Year Award. She hopes to continue publishing and selling books and to meet more interesting people.
