Kay C. Gallinger-Crofoot Honored for Excellence in Elementary Education
Michigan-Based Educator and Recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award in 2006 and 2007

HOWELL, MI, June 4, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kay C. Gallinger-Crofoot, Elementary Teacher with Howell Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of elementary education.

Ms. Gallinger-Crofoot has 20 impressive years of professional experience and specializes in elementary education. She notes that she became interested in teaching following the inspiration she received from her third-grade teacher. She considers attending the graduation of her students to be the most gratifying aspect of her career and attributes her success to her personal drive and love for children.

Recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award in 2006 and 2007, Ms. Gallinger-Crofoot received her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Marygrove College and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University. She is a member of the Michigan Education Association and the National Education Association and is a supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, The Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries International, Inc.
