Karie Olson Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

MILTON, WA, April 1, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Karie Olson, Mathematics Coach for Kent School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.
Ms. Olson has 19 years of professional experience in helping individual teachers plan and manage, data, classroom interventions, and provide differentiated instruction. She became involved in her profession because of the influence of her seventh-grade English teacher and she attributes her success to reaching out to people who can serve as mentors.
In 1991, Ms. Olson received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Multidisciplinary Studies from Lesley University in 1999 and is pursuing her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University. She is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and The National Staff Development Council. Ms. Olson received a Teacher Leadership Project Grant funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
