Frances M. Worthington Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, April 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frances M. Worthington, Library Media Specialist at Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of elementary education.
Frances Worthington has 36 years of professional experience and specializes in teaching elementary curriculum as well as working with library media. Her past work experience includes 22 years as a first-grade teacher at Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight, two years as a substitute teacher and seven years as a first-grade teacher with East Yuma County Schools. Ms. Worthington's love of children prompted her to become involved in her profession and she considers helping her students to succeed to be the most gratifying aspect of her career. She attributes her success to her hard work, positive attitude and caring nature. Ms. Worthington received her Master of Arts in Informational Technology and School Media from the University of Colorado Denver, her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and certification in elementary education (K-6).
