Child Adoption Resource Association of New London, CT, awarded grant from Altrusa
Child Adoption Resource Association, Inc., (CARA) a non-profit adoption agency, is pleased to accept a grant of $1,500 from Altrusa International, Inc. of Northeastern Connecticut.

NEW LONDON, CT, March 09, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Altrusa International is a volunteer service organization of business and professional leaders dedicated to improving their communities. The Northeast Connecticut chapter is based in Storrs. The word 'Altrusa' was coined by taking the first four letter of the word 'altruism' and joining them with U.S.A. from the United States of America.

Child Adoption Resource Association is proud of Altrusa of Northeast Connecticut's endorsement of Project Connecticut's Child.

For nearly twenty years, Child Adoption Resource Association has worked to advocate and support adoption in eastern Connecticut. Annually, Child Adoption Resource Association matches approximately 30 children with "forever" families.
