Heather-Lee Baron Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
Ms. Baron was honored with the Golden Apple Award in 2008 and the National ING Unsung Heroes Award in 2007
/Childrens Issues News Articles/ - Edinboro, PA, September 4, 2008, Heather-Lee Baron, Reading Teacher and ESL Coordinator for the Union City Area School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.
With seven years of professional experience, Ms. Baron specializes in the psychology of reading, which includes reading cognition, language and reading, emergent reading, reading comprehension and content area reading. Her primary responsibilities include teaching reading to seventh- through 10th-grade students. She became involved in her profession because of her past experience and her desire to help others in reading. Ms. Baron was honored with the Golden Apple Award in 2008 and the National ING Unsung Heroes Award in 2007, and attributes her success to her hard work.
Ms. Baron received her Master of Education in 2001 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1996 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is currently working in her Doctorate of Philosophy at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and hopes to become a reading consultant and teach at the university level in the future.
