Lynda D. Rhodes Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

/Childrens Issues News Articles/ - Pahrump, NV, August 16, 2008, Lynda D. Rhodes, Founder, Owner and President of Rhodes Ranch and R.V. Round-Up, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in social services.

Ms. Rhodes has been a proud servant of her community for the last 30 years. Considered an authority on assisting and advocating for victims of domestic violence and pedophilia, she devotes considerable time and energy to helping abused women and children and caring for seniors and pedophilia victims with special needs. An accomplished horsewoman, she often combines her two passions by providing horse therapy for abused women, children and seniors. Her good deeds have not been limited to people, however; for the last 13 years, Ms. Rhodes has been the proprietor of Rhodes Ranch and R.V. Round-Up, a non-profit horse preserve ranch and R.V. park that provides horse therapy, preservation, training and breeding, in addition to R.V. park rentals and accommodations for low-income and special needs individuals. Visitors are welcome and donations are tax-deductable. Ms. Rhodes also manages TSN, Travel Service Network, which creates jobs for low-income and special needs park residents.

The winner of numerous national horse shows featuring breeding and riding events, Ms. Rhodes is the former president of the Nevada State Horsemen's Association, the Risk and Insurance Management Society of the Howard Hughes Corporation, and the Senior Center Board of Directors of Pahrump, NV. She also previously served as chairwoman for fundraising of No to Abuse and a respite provider for the state of Nevada, Mental Health & Development Services. Her hobbies are not far removed from her work; for fun, she cares for her horses, spends time with her special needs son who assists her in managing the facility, and enjoys the company of R.V. park tenants and guests. Besides overseeing her ranch and various advocacies, Ms. Rhodes also manages Rhodes Retreat, her corporation's own mountain ranch in Utah.
