With 20 years of experience in her field, Ms. Marlatt excels in organizational management and is responsible for organization oversight, expansion, reviewing budgets and managing contracts. Before joining Valley Oak Children's Services, she worked as a school counselor and a social worker.

Ms. Marlatt received her Master of Arts in Education from the University of San Francisco in 1987 and is affiliated with the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies. She is a board member of the California Alternative Payment Program Association and a fellow with the Health Leadership Program at Sierra Health Foundation. Ms. Marlatt attributes her success to her desire to help the community and aspires to do diverse community service in the future.
