With more than eight years of professional experience, Ms. Hawkins specializes in teaching medically fragile children with severe and profound disabilities. Ms. Hawkins received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from California State University at Fullerton in 1999 and her Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders. She is affiliated with the Council for Exceptional Children and the Infant Development Association of California. She stays current with the trends in her profession by reading ASHA Journal and the Zero to Three Journal.
