/Childrens Issues News Articles/ - Gallipolis, OH, June 8, 2008, Tammy Davison, Executive Director of Transitions for Youth, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of social services.

Ms. Davison has an impressive 15-year background in social work, during which she has developed an expertise in building proactive relationships with children and foster parents. On a daily basis, she is responsible for providing foster care services including placements, monitoring and overseeing foster children and their families. Transitions for Youth is a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic foster care services. Ms. Davison attributes her success to her passion and desire to make a difference in the lives of foster children and their foster parents, and being open to change and able to listening to needs.

In 2001, Ms. Davison received her Master of Science from Ohio University. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Rio Grande as is a Licensed Adoption Assessor. Ms. Davison is a member of several industry organizations including the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies. In the future, Ms. Davison hopes to continue providing the best care services for foster children and their families and wants to expand her business. She would like to open a place for the children that reach adulthood, to keep on them on track to becoming productive citizens and members of society.
