/Childrens Issues News Articles/ - Huntington Beach, CA, May 9, 2008, Sandi Logan, School Counselor for the Fountain Valley School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of educational psychology.

Ms. Logan has an impressive background in school counseling. She has developed an expertise in utilizing her communication skills and on a daily basis is responsible for counseling students at risk, couples applying for divorce, and alcoholic and drug-addicted parents. Additionally, Ms. Logan has presented seminars and has been honored with a California School Counselors Award. She attributes her success to her positive attitude, her perseverance, her education and the support she receives from her parents and mentors.

In 2007, Ms. Logan received her Master's Degree in Counseling from Chapman University. She is a Credentialed Counselor in the state of California and a recipient of the 2007 Graduate Student of the Year Award. In the future Ms. Logan hopes to gain more financial support for counseling programs as she fears this field will soon be obsolete. She plans to write a book about how guidance counselors can make a difference in children's academic careers as well as in the community.
