Karen Graffius Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Music Education
Ms. Graffius considers herself an expert in directing choral music programs and on a daily basis she is responsible for teaching music technology, choral rehearsing for concerts, and composing music.


/Childrens Issues News Articles/ - Cumming, GA, May 4, 2008, Karen Graffius, Choral Director for Liberty Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of music education.

Ms. Graffius has 21 years of experience in education and six years of experience at Liberty Middle School. She considers herself an expert in directing choral music programs and on a daily basis she is responsible for teaching music technology, choral rehearsing for concerts, and composing music. She attributes her success to her hard work, self motivation and work ethic. Her valuable skills earned Ms. Graffius the 2001 Rock Springs Elementary School Teacher of the Year Award.

In addition to holding both a Level I and II Orff certification, Ms. Graffius received her Ph.D. in Music Education and her Master of Music Education from Louisiana State University. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Louisiana College. In the future she hopes to teach at the high school level.
